Should have read the description more closely. It is not a glass surface. But it still looks great!Nice frame, accurate measurements, and it was a perfect fit for the round puzzle I had.This attractive, lite-weight round frame provides the perfect place for your priceless photos. The reasonably low price is an added incentive for making it your own!I was pleased with this frame, however, 2 things to be aware of — one, the “glass” is not glass, it is a very thin piece of clear plastic. For me, it wasn’t a big deal. The other thing was that mine was scratched, so the paint was coming off, but that was on the back, and there was a paint run on the front, but was pretty much unnoticeable. The main thing was that I was able to get my picture framed for a reasonable price. It is imported (from China, I believe), so if you are looking for a great quality frame, you might try elsewhere. I just wanted my picture to be framed.I saw the reviews were mixed, but I needed a small round frame for an embroidery project so I took a chance. I was not surprised there was plexiglass instead of glass - I will price how much a piece of non- reflective glass costs. And it fits my project perfectly. I was not even surprised that the wood is kind of cheap. I won’t be displaying it year round anyway. But no one mentioned the chemical smell. It’s very bad. I have it out on the patio now and if the smell doesn’t air out I will have to return it. I was thinking of giving one as a gift to a friend who is embroidering a similar piece, but I would never do it with that smell.No glass. Thin plastic insert for "glass".
